DR. Stefan Tetzlaff

Dr. Stefan Tetzlaff is a historian as well as a strategy and policy consultant with many years of work experience in the international context. From his current employment and in the context of geopolitical shifts, Stefan Tetzlaff is particularly interested in economic, energy and climate policy in Germany and Europe and in Germany's relations with India and countries in Africa. After studying and earning his doctorate in Berlin, New Delhi, and Göttingen, Dr. Tetzlaff conducted research on the economic and social history of modern India as a Research Fellow at various institutions in Asia, Europe, and the United States. In Mumbai, he researched the history of education, products, and innovation in the Indian industrial conglomerate Godrej & Boyce. Based on this experience, Dr. Tetzlaff founded a strategy consulting firm (history& strategy consulting) in 2020, which understands and harnesses history as a strategic resource for companies and institutions. Together with business associations, he organized several events on economic actors and the geopolitics of markets and supply chains. At the same time, he taught Konrad Adenauer Foundation fellows in Ethiopia and the Democratic Republic of Congo and was involved in founding and coordinating the Foreign Trade Network of KAS alumni. At LM PRISK, Dr. Tetzlaff works as a consultant and is in charge of the new work areas Public Affairs and Transformation Management.
